WEB APPLICATIONS
The most frequent synonymous with web applications is a specific “html5-app”. Naturally, such a circumstance is not a coincidence. The thing is, that a web application, in fact, is a web site, which is adapted and optimized for the smartphone. And for that, in order to use it, it is enough to have a browser in your device, to know its web address and tobe connected to the Internet (thanks to it the updates of the information in this types of apps is made).
Web applications differ by its cross-platform character, it means that they are able to function, independently of the device platform. A card in its sleeve is that they don’t use a software of the device. And because it is a mobile version web site with the extended interactivity, web applications doesn’t take precious smartphone’s memory space.
Web applications are developed with help of tools and frameworks, which have become traditional now. And as a result the process of their development, recenlty, has become faster. In addition to this, web applications doesn’t demand constant support and bugs correction. There are more than enough professionals for their development, by the way.
The same time, web applications have some cons, for instance they can’t work without Internet connection. What is more,it reveals another disadvantage – their performance, which is on the medium level, in comparison with another types of applications. Moreover, it is dependant on Internet connection service provider.
