Within the framework of work on the OVVA project, two main tasks were set. Firstly, it is the update of OVVA projects for Android and iOS platforms, and secondly – the development of a completely new application for the Samsung Tizen Smart TV platform.
The most important accents in the development of applications were put on the continuous playback of HLS-video streams for demanding high-quality images of the viewers of channels 1+1, 2+2 and TET. In addition, was the right and convenient organization of work with the VOD content store.
From the interesting – the development of its own player for the Android platform with the ability to fully customize all the elements, select quality and support for Chromecast technologies. In addition,unforgettable evenings was conducted in a study of semi-mythical and, therefore, extremely fascinating documentation on the Tizen platform.
