Our client

KT-Energy is a company that has been actively involved in the development and consulting of projects in the field of energy, energy efficiency and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions since 2010. KT-Energy has selected Lampa company as implementer of an eco-platform to raise awareness of the environment among people.

The purpose
of the project

Imagine that you are generously rewarded for every good deed towards nature. It is a good motivation to protect the planet's environment and climate, isn't it?

This became possible with the mobile application "Climatic Drops". It monitors and encourages environmentally friendly behavior. It is similar to a game, but very useful one.

To begin with, you will need to decide who you want to become: a "source" or a "lake". Sources are participants who are willing to reward for good deeds in relation to nature. Lakes are users who will directly carry out these deeds.

You also choose spheres of influence: “smart houses”, “waste recycling”, “planting trees”, “eco-transport”, “studying”.

As a result, you will have:

  • your own universe;
  • your own internal currency, that helps to conduct transactions using QR codes;
  • personal wallet;
  • access to education materials with tests and analysis of results.

Lampa has tried to make it possible to customize the application for yourself. You will like multilingualism, work with push notifications, data analysis using Artificial intelligence.

Development
steps

STEP 1: Business Analytics

At this stage, our specialists with the client formed ideas and wishes in 2 documents:

  • Project concept - a document with a brief description, functionality and application screens;
  • The Statement of Work (SOW) - a document with the details of the project (description of the functions of the mobile application and the logic of its work).

4 specialists took part in the process:

  • Backend Developer

STEP 2: Development of a UX / UI project

The customer gave us a task to update the design of the old application. Our designer:

  • Analyzed the market of competitors (including Western ones);
  • Investigated similar examples (including western ones);
  • Made a conceptual vision of design;
  • Designed UX / UI user interfaces for Android, iOS platforms.

At this stage, 2 specialists took part:

  • Project Manager
  • Designer

STEP 3: Development

We started programming after the client's
approval of the Statement of Work and design.

  • Android and iOS specialists have implemented client-side interfaces (developers are engaged in the design of the application architecture, layout screens, implement functionality and the necessary services, and rigorously conduct manual testing);
  • The Backend developer designed the structure of the server side, logic, connections between tables, an admin panel for easy project management, and in parallel conducted manual testing.

During the stage, 4 specialists worked:

  • iOS Developer

STEP 4: Manual testing and uploading the project to AppStore / PlayStore

At this stage, we carry out the final testing of the finished application.

  • Find bugs or inconsistencies
    and then fix them.
  • Uploading the application to the appropriate (Play Store, Apple Store) mobile application stores.
